¡Hola! I’m Sara from Córdoba, a beautiful small city in Andalusia, south of Spain.
I am a qualified Spanish teacher with a CLTA in Spanish (Certificate in Language Teaching to Adults), which has given me the opportunity to work doing something that I love: teaching my mother tongue to people from all over the world!
Since joining Vamos in early 2015 my role has grown and I am now one of the school's academic managers. Part of my responsibilities include the recruitment and training of new teachers as well as helping with the daily running of the school.
The style of my lessons is based on a communicative approach where students practise all skills through a lot of interaction while performing very dynamic and varied tasks. There’s a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere at Vamos and I really like the fact that students don’t just learn the language but also learn about the culture.
