¡Hola! my name is Ruth and I am from a small city called 'Soria' in Castilla y Leon, which is in the middle of the Iberian Peninsula.
I have a Spanish degree and I am a qualified teacher with a Certificate in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from International House and the DTLLS (Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector) and I have just completed my MA in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language.
Teaching is my passion. I love giving my lessons as well as preparing them and searching for new activities and materials. My teaching method is communicative and I use a wide range of styles and activities to engage with my students and help turn the classroom into a fun and friendly environment.
I joined Vamos in August 2013 and love working at the school because we offer so much more. The school has also given me the opportunity to develop other skills like creating and developing the characters and interactive activities in our Cava Baja comics, an amazing project the school launched this year.
