Your Teacher

¡Hola! I’m Sonia, from Córdoba, a beautiful historical city in the south of Spain.

I hold a BA in English Studies, an MA in Linguistics and another Master’s Degree in Education. I also have a course from the Instituto Cervantes in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.

I started teaching in my first year of university and I haven’t stopped since then. It makes 12 years now. I love teaching because it allows me to participate in something as important as the learning process of amazing individuals.

When I teach, I always try to cause, what I call, “the awe effect of your personal achievements”, which appears when you realise you are learning, understanding and producing more Spanish than you expected. I love making everyone feel comfortable and active in class, making you have fun while learning, and going home with that feeling of a satisfactory evening.

I hope to see you soon in class! ¡Hasta pronto!
