Amaya Alonso

Hola! I'm Amaya from the famous city of Salamanca.

I studied at University of Salamanca where in addition to my Spanish teaching degree I obtained a Masters degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.

I have many years experience in the education sector, including seven as a class teacher (three at Salamanca University) and one as an A-level teacher in London.

Since joining Vamos in March 2012, I have helped develop the school's academic department as well as extra activities here at Holborn and in Spain. In addition to teaching, special projects remains part of my role.

I do hope you enjoy your experience at Vamos. With such a warm and friendly atmosphere it’s really fun to learn!

This is a 10-hour course over 5 weeks. It’s fun and informal, specially aligned to the A2 syllabus and a great way to help you practise.

Classes start with a short grammar and vocabulary revision exercise, followed by a variety of games, roleplays, music and videos all designed to get you talking.

Introduce ourselves.
Talk about wishes and needs.

Review parts of the body.

Week 2

Pretérito perfecto and past participles.
Pretérito perfecto’s time expressions.
